Buddha Gives In!

That’s right, we’re officially a bunch of married guys. Buddha (Sean) Spera was the last of the clan to take the dive and he did it on November 5th, 2005. Actually, it seems to me like he was just holding out and beating off all the women until he could find one right enough and I think he found her in Beret.

We had a really great time in Manassas…Catching up with friends and meeting all the kids that we haven’t had a chance to meet.

We also owe a special thanks to Lisa for feeding us so well after the wedding on Saturday and before we hit the road on Sunday.

Lanie’s Birthday

Today we headed up to Inman to celebrate Lanie’s 1st birthday. She loved her cake!
Sure we got a little carried away with the pictures, but it’s so easy to do with such a cute little niece!!

Don’t go chasing waterfalls!

We spent the night in Asheville last night with the intention of leaving at a decent hour so that we could see some waterfalls on the way home. What actually happened was…we went by the Grove Park Inn in the morning and spent quite a bit of time there because they have a very interesting studio displaying different types of crafts and furniture. Then, once we finally got going, we had a little trouble locating some of the waterfalls (that may have been my fault, but I’ll never admit it!!). We did end up making it to Whitewater Falls which is the highest waterfall east of the Rockies and made the hunt worthwhile.
